TIPS ABOUT THE FORMAT OF YOUR ABSTRACT
Prepare your abstract with your usual word processor, taking into account the following indications:
Words of the title are used for abstract indexing. Therefore, you should avoid “meaningless” words (ex: evidence for, new insights, effects of, etc) and non-standard abbreviations (ex: GABA is standard but LH for “lateral hypertrophy” is not). Use lower case, except for standard abbreviations. The title must be in one paragraph. Maximum length: 200 characters.
Abstract length is limited to 3000 characters. If your abstract is too long, you will be instructed to reduce the number of characters before you can continue the abstract submission process.
GREEK CHARACTERS AND SYMBOLS
You may use Greek characters or special symbols. Unusual fonts or symbols can appear as weird characters in your final text, please check carefully before submitting.
TABLES AND FIGURES
Tables and figures are allowed but reduce the length of your abstract by 100 characters each.
Your table is limited to 10 columns by 10 rows.
– BRAIN AWARENESS WEEK
WAIT for the confirmation page. DO NOT FORGET TO PRINT IT.
Your Reference Number and Access Key are mentioned on the confirmation; you will need these codes to view or modify your abstract and/or registration. Read your submission and make sure that there are no weird characters and signs in your text. DO NOT send a copy of the confirmation to the Congress secretariat.
You should receive a confirmation of your abstract submission by e-mail within 24h-48h. If you do not receive this e-mail, please check your e-mail address (firstname.lastname@example.org).
There is no reviewing process for abstract submitted to the Congress. However, the organisers reserve the right to reject an abstract that is incorrectly written, or does not conform to ethical rules or to the scientific scope of the meeting. Authors may be required to modify their abstract before being accepted.
Note: your abstract will be definitively accepted only on receipt of your registration fee. At the time of publishing the abstracts and programme book, abstracts for which we have received no registration payment will be removed.
In writing only, by e-mail or to the IBRO Congress Secretariat, state your last name, first name, Reference number and Access Key. Withdrawal of an abstract without cancelling registration does not entail refund of the registration fee. Only first authors are allowed to withdraw their abstract.
